Can anyone recommend a good home router preferably available on NewEgg? I'd like to get something with 8 wired ports, and a current wireless configuration. At this point I'm not up to speed on the current wireless specs available.
Thanks!!

Thanks Rocks.
Question though, does this mean that it will only allow 1 wireless connection at a time??
And I do like the Traffic Meter, that sounds like it come in handy.Quote:
1 x 10/100/1000M WAN; 4 x 10/100/1000M LAN
Edit: OK, I think I answered that question myself... It looks like all the wireless routers have that same (or near) statement so it must mean 1 port to many devices.. That only makes sense..
Recently purchased a Netgear Rangemax Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router (WNDR3700). Very pleased.
I would also suggest the NETGEAR WNDR3700.
Thanks guys, the advice and suggestions are much appreciated. I now have a WNDR3700 on it's way!
What? No one suggested:

So prior to installing the new router, remote desktop was working like a charm. Since then, no luck at all. I have 3389 forwarded the way I would typically do it, but it's still not working. I'm not even able to connect through the LAN, non-the-less through the web. Nothing changed on the machine that I'm attempting to connect to..
Am I overlooking something here? I'm sure that's what it has to be, so just curious if anyone else with this same router has had this issue and could help to resolve it.
the Linksys E2000 router has been working out very well for me. Along with the Apple Airport N router.
Bill, have you tried this?

Thats what im running, my only griff with it is that forwarding of 80 or 443 is loced down unless you use a telnet crack.
that and the dual n only reached the room its in.
neither of those are show stoppers though, all reviews on the Cisco/linksys e3000 was REALLY bad
