No kidding, I was thinking the same thing myself. Okay, I'll get a topic going.
What are the last 5 music CD's that you guys have bought. If you Ituned or Napstered them, then list that also.
Here are the last 5 that I have bought.
eXodus: Tempo of the Dammed
Decapitated: Negation
Iced Earth: Glorious Burden
Stamping Groud: New Darkness Upon Us
Lamb of God: As the Palaces Burn
With iTunes I rarely buy full CDs anymore. I have to really strain to think of the last 5.
AC/DC: Back in Black
Linkin Park: Hybrid Theory (Yes, yes, I know...shut up.)
Led Zeppelin: How the west was won.
White Stripes: Elephant
I could only think of 4... :P
Let's see, last 5 takes some thinking.
1. Battlefield Vietnam soundtrack: this one needs no explanation.
2. Ben Folds - Sunny 16 EP, Speed Graphic EP, and The Bens EP - 14 songs of brand new Ben Folds goodness (okay 12, since 2 of the songs on The Bens are actually by Aussies Ben Lee and Ben Kwaller) and this isn't even the new Ben Folds CD (which is supposed to be out soon, I've heard).
3. Gary Allan - See If I Care: this one will send the country music haters screaming. Even I can't stand "Tough Little Boys", but the rest of this album is great--it has sort of a Dwight Yoakam-ish rockabilly feel to it.
4. Norah Jones - Feels Like Home: got this one based on Squidly's recommendation, and I really enjoy it. Very relaxing.
5. Faith No More - The Real Thing: I iTunes'd this throwback from my early teen years. This album is hard to describe; if you've heard it, you know what I mean. Surprise You're Dead has found its way into my BF:V playlist.
Finally, here's a picture of a Jeep that wants to be a Hummer when it grows up:

That JEEP Rawks!!!!!!! Awesome pic!!
Faith No More........ I just had that in my cd player last week..... It's a great cd, I'm rather fond of Woodpeckers from Mars myself :-)
The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin
Steve Burns - Songs for Dustmites (yes, the guy from Blues Clues)
Jet - Get Born
Incubus - A Crow Left of the Murder
The Walkmen - Bows + Arrows
The Darkness - Permission to Land
Squid - how did you like those CDs?
It's times like these that I just can't muster the will to stay shut up. I'd never in a 100 years think you'd buy a CD like that. But I will say this, it is a good CD.Quote:

Among the many CDs I've recently purchased, here's a selection:
Brahms: Concertos for Piano No. 1 & 2, Fantasia Op. 116 (Gilels on piano w/ Jochum conducting the Berlin Philharmonic)
Bach: Cello Suites Nos. 1-6 played by the incomparable Mstislav Rostropovich
Ives: Three Places in New England, Ruggles: Sun Treader, etc. (Michael Tilson Thomas conducting the Boston Symphony)
Art Tatum: Best of the Pablo Solo Masterpieces (The greatest jazz pianist's best work)
Leo Kottke: One Guitar, No Vocals (A better non-classical acoustic guitarist you will not find)
No, not a kids CD. I read about Steve Burns in last months SPIN magazine. He was driving one day and decided to change direction in his life, stop persuing his acting career and quit Blues News. He mentioned a number of bands that were his major influence (many of whom I also liked) and the reviews for his album were favorable so I gave it shot.Quote:
