Hey, I wanted to check with you guys and see what your favorite movies were. I think it would be a cool thing to talk about and find out what some of us are into as far as movies go.

I'm sure we can each come up with a million different permutations... remember when putting your list together to think of movies that you could watch over and over...ones that would serve as companions on this island.
I didn't include Star Wars, Indiana Jones, or The Godfather because:
A) I can't just pick one of the series.
B) I've seen them so many times ... SO. MANY. TIMES. That a lifetime
of repetition on the island would be redundant.
It's interesting to see some of the lists here... I like Caddy Shack, but there's no way I could watch it 50 times. Maybe...MAYBE once a year. :)
Ditto Airplane, Tommy Boy, and any Batman...
But hey, that's what makes us all different... ;)
I can watch Tommy Boy over and over again (and I do). The funny parts just get funnier because you know they're coming up... :)
01. Blade Runner
02. Army of Darkness
03. Fight Club
04. Rushmore
05. The Royal Tenenbaums
06. Out of Sight
07. Brazil
08. Memento
09. The Professional
10. Zero Effect
11. American Beauty
Blade Runner is at the top of the list, but all the others are in no particular order.
No order
1. Saving Private Ryan
2. Le Pacte des Loupes
3. Tommy Boy
4. Animal House
5. Blackhawk Down
6. The Shawshank Redemption
7. The Matrix
8. Monty Python's The Holy Grail
9. The Last of the Mohicans
10. Band of Brothers (I know it's a mini-series, but it has theatrical quality).
Honorable mentions:
The Godfather
Braveheart
Seven Samurai
The Professional
Unforgiven
The Untouchables
Outlaw Josie Wales
M*A*S*H
Schindler's List
Army of Darkness
I guess you could say "That's gonna leave a mark" on your brain... ;)Quote:
