Could it be that that the Seahawks lost!!!!! :uzi:
One way to get people talking would be to say that the ref's did a great job officiating the game yesterday. :nuh:
Im glad da bus gets to retire with a ring. If anyone has played his heart out and deserves it surely its him.
My review:
Great challenge... I thought that ball had to cross the line to count as a touchdown. I guess the rules are different in the Super Bowl.
And evidently you can't tackle someone below the waist if you're the quarterback from Seattle.
"America's Game", featuring a washed-out band from the UK. Jeez Did you see the fans in the stadium... they were all just standing/sitting there. Unlike the paid 'fans' on the field with the oddly similar, brightly colored long sleeve t-shirts. What a joke. They've had motown themed half-time shows before, and the one time they are in Detroit, they bring in Brits? I think KISS would have been awesome! DETROIT ROCK CITY!
WTF was up with the Harrison Ford's Doctor Seuss crap? Man, that was disturbing.
The Jessica Simpson pedophile add was stupid
Hummer ran a year old ad... what's up with that?
Overall, a dull game by two teams without much spark.
P.S. Great new show... Trick My Truck. It's like Pimp My Ride but for hard working American Truck (Big Rig) drivers, not 20 something punks. Check it out on CMT : http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn/Trick_M...k/series.jhtml
I like Bill Cowher alot, I wish he was in Philly, instead of mr throw it every down.....
But, I can understand why Seahawks fans are upset... :uzi:
The Bus in this game, like the entire season, was a non-issue. The dude is at least 4 seasons removed from being relevant.
But hey, the NFL needed a feel good story, since the media is too lazy to do any research on the other team in the game.
Gratz on the win, Steelers. Hope you don't feel too dirty.
The officiating stank. I think the Hawks were robbed. The commercials were so-so. None of them was "Super" in my opinion. I thought the Rolling Stones were pretty good, but I could have done with Aaron Neville and that thing growing out of his forehead. One day that mole will cover his entire head. I did not believe that Aretha Franklin could get any larger but certainly she somehow managed. (Nuts' idea of KISS doing the half-time show would have been awesome.)
My score for the big game? 5/10
The party at Squidly's house: 10/10
Game pretty bad.........Halftime even worst...........bad calls..........over all my nacho cheese sauce the redeming factor! GG NFL!
I want to come to squids party next year.............
Yeah, I wanted to go to Squid's house too!!!!
Funny, I never get an invite...
The Bus is long overdue to retire, it will be interesting to see what they do with Duce Staley next year...
Now I come to find out that they blew another Jackson TD just before half.
If you get one leg in and hit the pylon with the other, you're inbounds.
Great.
That, I did not know. I was under the impression you had to have two feet inbounds then if you touch the cone it's good.Quote:

They should, I want to go to Pittsburgh tomorrow and throw dirt at them.Quote:

I've read that that was not accurate.Quote:

I heard he snubbed him but it could've been due to mass confusion and tons of people on the field after the game was over...
Either way, the sheer anguish on Cowher's face when him and Holmgren didn't shake hands delighted me.
