I had this issue too. What I did was create a normal connection inside the Wireless screen for my attached Wi-Fi card. After I did that, I was fine. The article mentions that as well. Personally I don't like the Wireless Zero in XP, I'd rather depend on the supplied software for the card or even a third party tool to do so.
Agreed. I have disabled Windows Wireless Management and I let the Netgear supplied Netgear software handle my wireless.
We've never had a problem with my wife's Sager with WinXP and our Wi-Fi network. It is using 3rd party software though.
I cheaped out and went Linksys. So the supplied software won't work on XP. I"m stuck with Wireless Zero! Ugh...
Most interesting. I've been having some problems with the notebook two floors up. Worse, it's the wife's, so I've been taking some abuse over the matter, since I'm the one who set it up. Thanks Bribo, I'll be sure to check this out!
