Oooooh. This is how U post. I get it now.
No seriously although I haven't posted a ton, I do read and enjoy all the topics. Being thoroughly bored at work one afternoon, I went back through all the posts since the beginning. Interesting stuff.
A little background for those interested.
I work for a beer distributor here in Cincinnati (Who Dey) and sorry Beast, we don't sell the Beast. Hehe. I do have a girlfriend her name is Mike ..doh I mean Melissa j/k. We've been dating for a loooong time but I haven't taken the plunge (but maybe this year). No kids, two cars, big cat, big comp. I work, drink beer, play golf, play Tribes, eat a little and sleep less.
Lately I've been enjoying curfews, riots, the Reds (ugh), and the Bengals (gettin better). That is probably why I have been playing so much T2 lately.
I normally do ask a lot of questions so I'll start now. I've been trying to spare U guys from my stupidity. What is the sig? and How do I make one?
Pictures like this vvv And witha graphics editor....
Ok, we have Corel and some other stuff at work. So say I design a graphic, How do I put into T2 and on the boards?
Don't start a NFL war with Bengal stuff here...rofl

well, you can't really put graphics into t2 because you would be the only person to see your graphics. that's why you have to download a skin before you can see it in the game, and the same goes for smileys.Quote:

luckily, for this board, you can upload your signature image (if within reasonable size) to the forums' server. Zorro and Palooka are more knowledgeable in this area; i'd ask them for specific details.
Okay, BW, here's what you do. First, you can make a non-graphical signature by clicking the "user cp" button above, and going into the Edit Profile area. Signatures can contain any vB code so you can use that to add thinks like links and text formatting, etc. My signature looks like this in vB code (spaces added around vB tags):
Notice the [img] tag in there. That's how you specify the URL of an image that you might want to place in your signature. Additionally, you can use the [img] tag to place images in your post, so long as they are globally accessible through the Internet. As for how you get images to public websites, there are a number of solutions. Many people get free or nearly free webhosting accounts from places like Homestead and others. Your ISP might also include some web hosting space. Mine does, but I can't say that I've ever used it. Geocities will, unfortunately, not work because they have filters that disallow image leaching from remote sites. As a last resort, I can, on a person-by-person basis, upload images to the AugustKnights.com website. Due to the fact that I would prefer to save bandwidth and and diskspace as much as possible, I will avoid putting stuff up that's excessively large. Additionally, inappropriate materials will not be accepted. Lastly, I won't be making changes to your upload of choice every day or even every week. If you have a need for this level of service, shoot me an email. HTH!Code:[ email=zorro@augustknights.com ][AK]Zorro[ /email ]

Thanks for the help Zorro. Lemme ask U this. I found an image I like and several servers I can use to "upload" the image, but it is animated. I haven't noticed any animated images (cept for smileys) on the boards. Will this image work or am I gettin over my head?
Thanks again for the help
