We've all seen the ads:
A person looks at you after doing something on their computer and says "I'm a PC". What does that even mean?
Is it just me, or is this the lamest ad campaign that Microsoft just won't let go?

It's a riff on the Apple ads.
the "I'm a PC" commercials suck.
The newer "Windows 7 was my idea" are better.
The Droid commercial rocks. Although they forgot the "iDon't have a reliable network" item.
I do love the there's a map for that commercials!
Especially since I have ATT's lovely service with no iphone coolness to compensate.
8 months until I can switch carriers!
ATT's network has worked for me flawlessly in southern NJ, and most recently, 4 bars in the depths of various casinos in Las Vegas. Sorry they haven't built out the tower network for you in Eastern Podunk PA. ;)
On a serious note, there's not a single thing they mention in the Droid commercial that I have "yearned" for the last 3 years. The camera could use a flash, I suppose, but I carry my tiny Canon in my laptop bag at all times anyway - and it's a superior solution.
The iTunes appstore is the killer differentiating factor. 90k+ apps = loyal, locked in userbase.
Include Central and Northern NJ in that statement as well. Downtown Clinton, NJ. 2 year old Motorola Q9c inside diner on Verizon - 4 bars. Latest iPhone - 1 bar, comes and goes. Inside Flemington outlets - Verizon - full bars. iPhone - 2 bars, sometimes 1. :uzi:
The iPhone has a several year head start. But I wouldn't bet against Google. If the iPhone doesn't get unlocked from AT&T soon - it's only going to help Droid (and other smartphones) capture that much more market share.
I love the iPhone - but will never purchase it as long as it's on a 3rd World, not a 3G, network. If I know the iPhone will be available by mid 2010 on Verizon, I'll wait. Otherwise, I'll jump on the Android train to see how it rides. ;)
BTW - The new Verizon ads really hit a sore spot with AT&T. The Truth sure can hurt. LOL
In reference to Verizon's new AT&T ad: What is 3G?
I'm still using an Edge iPhone. :lol2:
I found this video quite interesting.

According to the author, the Android app store is getting a lot better a lot faster, and should be comparable to Apples soon. Do we finally have a phone comparable to an iPhone that's on a network other than AT&T? We might...
I am a MAC, for almost 2yrs now. Windows is a necessary evil in some cases, namely for my job. Other then that I'm all MAC all the way.
