He can make a flame thrower but he has to use huge gosh darn animated GIFs to offer everyone moving video of his project. This is a kid who desperately needs to learn how to capture .mpg/.avi/.mov files with a camera.
*smacks Wraith for the unecessary language*
*guy in the dodge hemi comerecial impression* SWEEEEET :D
For the love of monkeys. We're all adults here and even if there are non-adults here, they've heard the word "darn" before. Really.
I think learning how to capture video is the least of his problems at this point. :crazy:Quote:

Darn you.
vBulletin has a built-in, dynamic word filter that can replace particular words with other words. If Zorro wanted "darn" translated to "darn", he'd configure it that way.
Thank you for the tip, Mr. Wraith. It has been duly noted, and due to your insolence, we may need to act on it. We appreciate your feedback and continued patronage. Have a pleasant day.
Incidentally, Zorro no longer administrates these forums.
Well, golly gosh darnit! When did this happen? I guess you're the cute one who likes dicking with people's profiles. You run this forum and you're not even familiar with it's most rudamentary features? A moron...is you.

Monkey Molester
Thank you again for your constructive criticism, which is always welcomed here at the August Knights Discussion Forums. Of course, I knew all about the censorship feature in vBulletin long before you mentioned it. I had never bothered using it before because profanity is not much of a problem here. Besides, it's pretty worthless since any monkey molester with a modicum of creativity can alter a word in order to circumvent censorship, as you have so eloquently proven, and I don't particularly feel like wasting hours of my valuable time adding every conceivable derivative of common curse words to the list. Thus, I will continue to manually modify the rare post containing profanity.
By the way, it's "rudimentary." I may be a moron, but at least I can spell rudimentary words.
First of all Palooka "You da' man" I guess some people will never learn not to come into a forum or game server for that matter and flame those in power. I must compliment you on Wraith's avatar, it looks just like I pictured him :). I am not sure why he feels the need to come into forums and only contribute in a negative fashion maybe lacking something in real life who knows. Anyways I would like to take the opportunity to say thanks for my morning entertainment while I sit on yet again another boring conference call.
You've modified my Avatar...again? I'll have to enable signature/avatars and see what pathetic stretches your administrative prowess has awarded us, yet again.
I always find it funny how the term "people in power" is used to describe administrative access to some forum. How trite. It's also such a joy to watch a topic turn to mere spelling errors as grounds for rebuttal. It's the only true sign the individual has run dry on actual content. Not that gross disregard for spelling and grammar should be ignored, but the key werd is gross, d00d. But u so r0x0r..
You never did answer my question about how long Zorro departed and left you holding the reins with nothing more than a stiffy for doing so.
Guess I can't edit my options and enable signatures/profiles. You've locked my account out of all customization options. You're so god damned cool.
Zorro has been gone for at least a year now I think.. Kinda miss the masked man.
I keep thinking it is really Michael Jackson posting here. :eek3:
Not that I'm taking sides here but I have to agree with The Wraith on the "spelling" issue.
We don't generally get on people about their spelling, Richie. Not generally.
Richie, when someone calls his adversary a moron while incongruously misspelling simple words, he probably deserves criticism.
Mr. Wraith, while we here at the August Knights Discussion Forums attempt to adhere, in the interest of customer satisfaction, to the principle that the customer is always right, we also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Unfortunately, your present and past incivility has given us no alternative other than to strip many of your privileges, and I am afraid that we may need to take further action, including banishment of your account, should your unacceptable behavior continue. Consider this your final warning.
I appreciate your concern for Zorro and the status of augustknights.com. For the benefit of his family, with whom he needed to spend more time, Zorro retired from the August Knights and his online gaming activities in January of 2003. Since then, I have assumed the responsibility of hosting augustknights.com and these forums on my server, which is colocated in my previous employer's datacenter.
By the way, I recently spoke to Zorro on the phone, and he seems to be doing quite well. He has moved his family to Virginia where he is employed by a large IT company.
Good to hear Zorro is doing ok.
When I saw this I got the feeling he was saying, Wraith talks to much and he needs to just shut up and enjoy the flame thrower. The useage of the "darn" word was not the issue here. :nuh:Quote:
