Splendiferous! Oh, and I agree with Kidd; all the modes are great, but I think rush may be the most fun. We can always mix it up.
Switched it to Rush. Will work immediately on the reserve-player list (guaranteeing us slots.) Once I get settled in in a day or so I'll dole out some admin accounts to some of you guys.
Thanks for getting us up and running Squid - was on there tonight having some fun with a few AK and my racing buddy Dustin (DMcGrew).
I played on the new server for a few hours. Had a blast!
Fantastic round last night!!!! Great for stats and trying things out. Wanted to come back but got knee deep in Dawn of War II

There's a GUI that I've been using to control RCON. Doing a bit of playing with it and I want 1 more night before I start handing out accounts.

I just left the AK server, because I will not play in server poorly managed.
Auto balance does not work. never has in BC2.

I think that Kidd is trying to say, "Thanks for the server, Squidly! I'll give you a couple days to get it all situated."
I don't really like autobalance either...figured I'd give it a shot. The other issue is it's hard to switch sides...the switching doesn't always work.
The server tries to be too smart.
It places you on the same team as your friends.
This results in 10 v 2, etc...
What time does everyone usually play? I have been watching the server for a few days now and I have yet to see anyone in it.

I'm usually on starting at 8 Eastern, until 10-10:30 or so. (There are always people on earlier than me, and there's usually a pretty good crowd when I get ready to pack it in for the night, too.)If there aren't many of us on, we'll sometimes hit a pub server instead of waiting for the AK server to get populated, although the word does appear to be getting around--it's getting easier to draw a crowd, I've noticed.

I am usually on right after work (4:30/5 p.m. CST) until 7 or so. Then sometimes later in the evening until 10 p.m. CST.
Sometimes folks are online, but not on the AK server, especially if there are less than 4 or 5 AK online. If you check the Battlefield roster list and start sending out friend requests in-game (and log on to Ventrilo), you'll be able to find and join games with other AK.
I think we're all using Ventrilo rather than in-game voice comms.

When I'm on during the week, it is usually between 8PM and 10:30PM EST. Occasionally a little earlier, sometimes a little later.
Usually on from 7-730 CST until 10-11pm most nights.....off and on all day on Thurs - Sat (my days off)

I'm in the same boat. I can get on after 8pm or so (pacific) unless I can sneak away for a few minutes... and now that I've unlocked everything I'm not forced to fight a whole round - in fear of losing points.
When im on its about 8-11pm PST so i play mostly with my west coasters Palooka and Nuts shoot me a friend request..........
I sometimes come on later than normal on the weekends. Of course, some weekends I don't get on at all, too.

Also:
1) Servers running SQDM or SQRUSH are no longer reported to run with "autobalance off" and they are no longer automatically reported as "hardcore".
2) Server GUIDs are reported properly to the backend. (This was a bug introduced with R10.)
A side effect of the bug that is fixed in #2 is that people need to rebuild their favorites lists.
