Yuck...yuck...yuck... :D
Could be a seller's sample, but considering how they made it a media circus when they first caught the guys, I really doubt that was the case. They really looked like idiots when they had to let them go. I'm sure they investigated every possible lead before releasing those guys.
And as Widowmaker pointed out....it was questionable whether they even had Uranium. Although I don't know for sure how the tests panned out.
I say we should strike Qebec first. French Canadians are the worst kind of Canadians! Mangez merde et mourez vous Canadiens Francaises!
(I hope I wrote that right, been years since I tried out french)
Invade Canada!!!! Now you're talking! Maybe you guys will win me over yet :D
All the Labatts a man could want! The ancestral home of Pam Anderson! Ahhhh!
You don't suppose they let them go and yet kept them under covert observation in order to learn more about their possible organization and motivation, do you?Quote:

Nah, we're not that smart.
If that were the case, then they would be stupid to pick them up in the first place. Although - it is Turkey that we are talking about....
Hey Bribo....
We hit a new page, time for another pic! :D

The technology for weapons of mass destruction is very complicated, so there's no point generalizing. Reality is somewhere between two truths:
1) When WMDs work, they work really well. And there are people in the world who, when properly equipped, could make them work.
2) WMDs are really, really complicated, and it's easy to screw them up. If you screw up a WMD, it generally does very little.
This applies just as much to biological weapons and gasses as it does to nukes. They're all really scary if they work, but it's really easy for them not to work.
Sorry to sound in late, but the funniest thing about the Uranium story is that it was portrayed in the news as being "weapons grade uranium". Funny thing about Uranium is that it doesn't reach fissionable critical mass outside the confines of a reactor (that uses a primary coolant to slow down fast neutrons, thereby perpetuating the chain reaction). Hence, there is no such thing as "weapons grade uranium" since you can't make a dang bomb out of the stuff... Also, I kind of figured the whole thing to be a propoganda stunt perpetrated by our CIA or the MI-6... The fact that they "just happen" to stop a shipment (bound for Iraq, golly gee whizzers) just never washed with me... This shouldn't lead anyone to believe that I'm against invading Iraq and plugging a few of Saddam's cranium orifices with some well-placed 50 cal projectiles... I'm not... But I still subscribe to the world called reality and can see a ruse for what it is.... ;)
Go see Bowling for Columbine
I'm sure you'll all enjoy it as much as I did.
Hmmm, pretty close. :DQuote:

The situation in the Middle East is a *bit* more complicated than the "no war for oil" crowd would have you believe.
The route to first world status for these countries lies in deposing the ruling dictatorships.
The route to stability in the Middle East (and the world) does not lie in allowing Iraq
marshall it's forces (however meager) to launch a first strike at Israel.
Have no fear, Slaughter. The war against Iraq will proceed much the same way
the Gulf War and the Afghanistan conflict did.
1) Initial hand wringing.
2) Moaning about American casualties.
3) Lamenting about our boys in body bags.
4) Sweaty palms over the draft.
5) No War For Oil (tm) marches
6) Decisive, massive military strike by the US.
7) Almost immediate capitulation by the enemy.
8) Surprise, over how easy the whole thing was.
9) Rejoicing by the Iraqi people over their newfound freedom.
10) Lamenting by the deposed Iraqi leadership over the fact that they're ****ed.
Damn, it feels good to be so right!
Palooka is actually a Psychic..
Not to mention Psycho!
Also, very true. Gotta be scared of him sometimes..
Although it's not over, it's a great day to celebrate for both Americans and Iraqi people. It's a good day to fly the American flag which I've done. American flags are flying all over Dearborn Michigan by dissident Iraqi people.
What is really gratifying are the scenes of Iraqi people in Baghdad holding up pictures of our president and saying:You see I always knew that we had a good man and the right man in the White House. It's hard for some people to swallow but swallow hard they will.Quote:
Thank you Mr. Bush!
Socialism has been dealt a hard blow but it won't disappear. It will slink away to a dark place to nurse it's wounds and preserve it's disease and insanity until the time is right again. No oil money for you Mr. Jacques Chirac! Go straight to hell!CheersQuote:
Long live Mr. Bush!
Let's hope we see more pictures like this one from the Middle East:
