That's one of my gf's favorite movies. Plus, you can't seriously dislike that movie. The love story part was kind of cheesy but the rest was cool, IMO :)

Titanic totally sucked!!!! I wrote 2 papers on the sinking of the ship in college. The story is too interesting to throw stupid love stories and chases for diamonds and all that crap in it. Just a blatant attempt to get teenage girls coming back to watch it for the umpteenth time!
I have to admit that I did like the effects during the final moments of the ship's sinking, but they only lasted for about 10 minutes. It wasn't worth the price of admission for that.
What about..
Flight of the Intruder
Platoon
Year without a santa claus... ETC
Come on you guys...
Heh, yeah Rocks, but we can only pick 10 movies... It's real tough to narrow it down...
Who said anything about only naming 10 movies, I just asked in the beginining who loved what movies, if you had a list of 53 movies, I'd enjoy to see what they all are.
Squid i relooked at your list and I gotta say, anyone who has Escape From New York and The Thing on there list. Is okay in my book. :-)
And to get gunny and choozoo off my back,
I love the movie Heartbreak Ridge!!! I meant to put it up on my list but for some reason I left it out. My bad.
Well if the sky's the limit, check out my DVD list...
Some are my wife's picks, and others were freebies, but it'll give you a good idea of what I like.
Or you could not look at his DVD list, you might be there for hours.. what you up to now, Squid?
ROFL, 288.
One question?... when would you find time to watch 288 movies? I don't even have that many movies if I put vcr tapes and dvd's together... I'm still about 250 sort of that mark..
Don't let them get to you Squidly, i have 195 DVD's.. Good piont on the time issue. I guess I will have to watch more TV.. LOL
I can't imagine having 200+ DVD's... I'd go crazy trying to watch them all..
Squidly, I'm ashamed! I see Kentucky Fried Movie - but no Amazon Women on the Moon! Hmmm.....
Sounds like he has room for more Classics! How about???? Hmmm,, Yes:
Empire of the Ants
Attack of the 50 Foot Woman
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Well I do have Humanoids from the Deep and Deathrace 2000, dangit!
Funny thing is, it's cheaper to buy a DVD now than go see the movie in the theater with your family. You also have the option to rewatch it as much as you want and even sell it on Ebay if it stinks.
