Yeah, the game really does a good job of keeping me on edge.

Check this out...you guys were part of a marketing experiment from Valve. You may have struck a blow to lower the price of video games for all of us!

I'm playing Advanced more and more often. I even play Expert with a few other steady players though we've yet to complete a full game yet.. usually takes about 1.5 hours to get through on Expert.
Hell, even Normal can be tough when you play with crappy players (like the guy that wastes all the mollies, pipes, LPGs and Jerry's at the beginning of the map during the final scene and the goes all Rambo resulting in us rescuing him.
Yeah, I played a pickup game of No Mercy last night with two people who'd never played before. It didn't end well.
I actually made it through two tanks solo on No Mercy after my team of dorks hid in the closet when the first tank came in. Funny shit. I ended up lighting their dying bodies on fire as the tank pummeled them.
We need an AK night of L4D.
Now that I can use the middle finger on my left hand again, I can't wait to get back into L4D. Count me in for an AK L4D night.
No, I broke it on New Year's Eve. I'm not even sure how I did it.
Let's see.... Middle Finger... Left Hand... Hmmmmmmm

Not meaning to derail this...intellectual discussion...but how about Tuesday night for an AK L4D night? I'm planning to hop on around 8 Eastern or so. I'll probably log into the Ventrilo server's Desert Combat channel, though I may hop out and rely on in game voice comms once we get rolling.
I think I am going to play single player a bit longer before I embarass myself in front of you guys! Love the game though and will hopefully get a bit better next week.
Believe it or not I think Pops picked it up quicker playing online. You learn a lot from other players.
On another note: I've been playing the game with a new twist:
Group Speed Round: Complete the entire campaign with all four survivors as fast as possible. I've gotten it done in 29 minutes. (Normal)
Firsties: First person to the safe house wins. No helping team mates unless they are in your way and by killing Z's you can progress faster. You really learn how to dodge tanks and conserve pipe bombs.
Kidd and I have been playing together with 2 computer players, and we're catching on pretty fast. Have cleared 2 of the campaigns on normal mode. Looking forward to playing with some AK soon.
Your playing with Kidd? Oh... I'm so sorry. I don't think he knows how to play FPS.
